So you're coming to Beijing on a Business Trip - that doesn't mean that you can't have a little fun and still explore the city. Here are our suggestions for where to stay, where to eat, and what to do during the daytime, and in the evenings after work.

Where to Stay

Wangfujing Wangfujing

The Hilton Wangfujingis perfect for business. Its business facilities, and its location also has countless perks. The hotel is a great place to start exploring the city from in the evening as well as during the day: you are right byWangfujing Shopping Street and Snack Street.

To get the best of both worlds (the luxury, and the culture) check out the recently openedTemple Hotel, which is hidden inside an old Tibetan temple which was rediscovered not long ago. Want to stay in a luxury hotel, but interested in other options on top of the Temple Hotel? We've compiled a list of Beijing's most popular luxury hotels to make it easier. For another option that is a bit less expensive, go for the popular international chain the快捷假日酒店. There is one at Dongzhimen which is easy to find, close to the center of the city of numerous attractions, and right by thesubway to the airport.

What to do: Daytime

The Forbidden City The Forbidden City

1. The Center: Forbidden City & Tian'anmen Square

If it's your first time in Beijing, you may want to consider taking a trip to the biggest and best tourist attractions in the city:the Forbidden CityandTian'anmen Square.
