Just because there's a lot to see doesn't mean you can't take some time to relax, especially on weekends! These are some of Beijing's best spots for a Western-style brunch: great to start off your slow day. Brunch is an especially great solution for the weary traveler still battling jet lag.
Stuff'd
Stuff'd is a good quality and reasonably priced brunch destination in the middle ofBeijing's old hutongs. Options range from pizza, sandwiches, their signature sausages in french-style baguettes, and pies. There is also a full English on the menu, and a good range of cocktails and beer.

Great Leap Brewing Taproom
One of Beijing's favorite craft breweries, the Great Leap Brewing Taproom, is also a pretty solid option for brunch on weekends. Choices are overwhelming: think waffles from the brunch menu, or their regular fare (burgers, sandwiches, and salads). Once you're here it is also the perfect time to try one of their craft beers. That is what they are known for, go on, it would be rude not to!

Mao Mao Chong
Mao Mao Chong is a popular bar and restaurant located near theDrum and Bell towers. Brunch here is a great idea as they make special brunch pizzas, sausage rolls, and have a long list of the-morning-after cocktails. Most popular is Mao Mao Chong's version of the Bloody Mary: the Bloody Mao. It is similar to the Bloody Mary but has a Chinese twist: it is a little bit spicy.

Mosto
A bit more upscale than the previous brunch locations, Mosto brunch is delicious. You can opt for free-flow Bellini's (something that is definitely worth considering). Items on the menu include eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes. There is something for everyone. Brunch at Mosto is a great way to start off a day ofshopping in Sanlitun!

Temple Restaurant and Bar
And another step up, Temple Restaurant and Bar is a one-of-a-kind venue located near Beijing'sNational Art Museum. It's setting is exquisite: it is located inside an old Tibetan temple. Weekend brunch here is not cheap, but definitely one of the best ones around. Especially great if you have something to special celebrate (being on holiday, for example)!

Vineyard Cafe
一个伟大的传统心血管病ish breakfast, and a range of other items too. This was one of the first good mid-range Western restaurants in the city, and is still popular with foreigners, whether they are just passing by or living in the city. Brunch at Vineyard Cafe is perfectly combined with afull day, orhalf day, walking tour of the hutongs!
