Shijingshan Amusement Park, in the west of Beijing, is the largest amusement park in Asia. Over 200 million visitors, both foreign and domestic, have enjoyed this park since its inception in 1986.

With over 100 attractions, Shijingshan Amusement Park will keep visitors entertained for days on end. The park has everything from fairytale inspired costumed characters to roller coasters to children friendly rides.
While all of the park's attractions will not disappoint, there are several thatshould not be missed. The Spinning Batman, a suspended ride roller coaster, and Shenzou Coaster, an inverted ride roller coaster, are two must-ride coasters as they are different from the other, more traditional 'sit down' designed coasters.
Visitors may then take the scenic Blue Bridge Tower which connects the attractions in the eastern part of the park to the west where they can enjoy another wild ride in the4 d电影院which immerses all of the viewers' senses with moving seats and other gimmicks.
Because of the enormity of Shijingshan Amusement Park, there issomething for everyone. If roller coasters and 4D movies are not to your liking, you might enjoy the flat amusement rides or the princess castle.
Travel Essentials
Costs:For only 10 Yuan, visitors are granted entrance. But be sure to bring some spending money as every ride is an extra 20-50 Yuan. Additionally, you will probably be hungry after enjoying a few of the rides so you can purchase a meal from one of the many restaurants or street vendors.
The best time to visitthe park is between the months of April and October because some rides may be closed during the winter months. Either way, just remember to bring a good pair of walking shoes to stay comfortable and safe.
Open:During summer months the park is open from 8:30 to 17:00 and switches to 9:00 to 16:30 in winter. And don't worry about public holidays or festivals, the park is open year round.
With ample accommodation, visitors may want to spend a night or two in Shijingshan to see another side of Beijing.
