Yuyang International Ski Resort is a large and new ski resort that was opened in 2006. Though the hills are not tall, the facilities are modern, and there are good hotels and restaurants. On the second floor, there are rooms with various styles of decoration that were named after flowers and seasons, and on the first floor, there are rooms that were named after pavilions. You can find Chaoyue, Chuanlu, Xiang,Dalianand other kinds of Chinese food, seafood, and Japanese and Western food. There is also a pizza parlor. The main chef at the Green Ecology Restaurant has worked in 4 or 5 star hotels and won a chef competition.

The Yuyang International Conference Centre is a 4 star international hotel located in Pingu. It is a good place to hold meetings since it is conveniently located 50 kilometers from the airport and 60 kilometers from Beijing, and visitors staying there can visit nearby sightseeing areas such as Jinhai Lake, Dongjing Canyon, Jingdong Limestone Cave, and Shilinxia. Of course, visitors can also enjoy the big restaurant and outdoor activities at the resort. Getting There

Tips:
The peak crowds on the slopes come during the two week Spring Festival national holidays that start on the lunar new year; that is, during the two weeks after February 13, 2010. The area will be unusually busy on these days, and transportation is more difficult and more expensive.
The varied weather around Beijing may not allow skiing all season long. The resort has snow making equipment.
